About David:
Mr. Lee is the Founder and Chief Collaboration Officer of Health Collaboration Partners which helps health care startups, non-profits, and biopharma:
Increase funding support to enable financial sustainability and organizational impact through the creation of compelling value propositions, business cases, and grant proposals
Optimize multi-sector collaborations to bring together the expertise and resources of public, private, and non-profit sector stakeholders

He is a leading expert in osteoporosis and bone health, given his roles running the National Bone Health Alliance (a public-private partnership on bone health that included more than 55 organizations), global marketing program lead for Amgen’s bone health portfolio, and now supporting a number of non-profit and industry osteoporosis leaders through his consulting work since mid-2021. Of particular focus has been implementation of post-fracture care coordination programs that ensure patients receive appropriate screening, diagnosis, and treatment after a fracture.
Mr. Lee has 30 years of experience and leadership in the non-profit and biopharma sectors including roles with Amgen (Global Marketing Program Lead, Bone Health), National Osteoporosis Foundation (Executive Director, National Bone Health Alliance), Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (Deputy Director, The Biomarkers Consortium), Last Acts Partnership (Acting Executive Director and Director of Program Policy), and American Gastroenterological Association (Executive Vice President and Director of Programs and Operations, Foundation for Digestive Health and Nutrition). He leverages this expertise for his clients to help them accelerate their impact, increase their funding support, and achieve their organizational and programmatic goals.
Mr. Lee has secured over $50 million for more than 100 scientific and medical projects and created and led several impactful, large-scale public-private partnerships across several disease areas.
